Dr. Celine Brouillette

Registered Psychologist

For over 20 years I have been providing psychotherapy for individuals and couples as well as psycho-educational assessments for children, practicing in Vancouver. My goals are to ease suffering, foster personal change, and enhance development and learning.

I have worked in a variety of environments including general hospitals, specialized in-patient and out-patient eating disorder programs, university counseling centers, employee assistance programs and, for the past two decades, in private practice. I therefore have extensive expertise with a broad range of psychological concerns. I provide my clients with personally-tailored courses of treatment suited to their unique needs and personalities.

Issues I have treated include depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, eating disorders, relationship problems, work conflict, childhood trauma, post-traumatic stress, parenting issues, dissatisfaction with life, loss and grieving, and many other life problems. I also have specialized skills in assessing and treating eating disorders.

In addition to therapy, I also conduct extensive psycho-educational assessments with children, adolescents, and adults in order to identify learning styles and difficulties, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and other educational issues.

Since a trusting and productive therapeutic relationship is crucial for effective assessment and therapy, I strive to develop a comfortable, non-judgmental and respectful working relationship with my clients. I offer services in both French and English.
